Jul 5, 2010 - There are some who posit that Jim Henson had Asbergers Syndrome, (along with Albert Einstein and many other brilliant and creative men and women) so that's could be why he composed that sweet song...but back in the day, I remember reading, somewhere, that he composed the song especially for children of color. I'd like to think that both theories are true.

PBS asked for the Muppets to be on because they were already famous. Jim Henson almost didn't say "Yes" because he didn't want his puppets to be thought of a a kids' act.
